The Lister Knobbly is one of the most exciting and successful sports cars from the 1950s overall. Its name is derived from its uncompromisingly designed bodywork. A pure purpose-built form, following the FIA Appendix C regulations valid at the time.
The Lister Knobbly was introduced in 1958. Most vehicles were built with Jaguar engines. For the American market, engines from Chevrolet were also installed.
In total, approximately 20 Lister Knobbly were produced.
The offered Lister Jaguar Knobbly was created in the 1980s as an exact replica of an original vehicle.
The vehicle is equipped with a 3.8-liter Jaguar racing engine according to D-Type specifications (D-Type aluminum cylinder head, dry sump lubrication).
Technically, the Knobbly has been extensively revised in recent years. Invoices for over 220,000 euros are available for the work on the technical aspects.
The Lister Jaguar Knobbly has a road approval and currently has English vehicle papers.
