Porsche 968 Cabriolet with 2.9-litre four-cylinder engine
Manual 6-speed gearbox
Older original condition with visible signs of use
Cabriolet with classic Porsche lines and open-air driving experience
U.S. registration documents (E705)
The Porsche 968 Cabriolet represents the final and most refined evolution of Porsche’s transaxle models of the 1990s. Thanks to its powerful four-cylinder engine, balanced weight distribution and manual six-speed gearbox, this model offers a pure and enjoyable driving experience combined with the pleasure of open-top motoring.
This example was registered in the United States in 1995 and is presented today in an older original condition. The bodywork shows scratches and dents. The paintwork displays heavy signs of use, with visible damage in the form of scratches and dents.
The underside is easy to improve. The tyres still have good tread but are old and therefore of limited usability. The soft top is old and dry, but still usable. The interior is original and shows normal signs of use.
The chassis number has been re-stamped with certification and is clearly legible, located on the firewall (no plate present). The engine bay is in a good, honest condition, with worn pumps noted as a point of attention.
Mechanically, the car is in a correct and honest condition. The engine runs well. Maintenance is required; the timing belt history is unknown. The battery is in good condition and can last several more years. The clutch and manual six-speed gearbox function properly. The brakes and handbrake also operate correctly.
Electrically, the horn, windscreen wipers, heater and dashboard work properly. The lighting functions, but the right brake light and the third brake light do not operate fully. The suspension and axles function correctly.
