Two icons. One designer: The Porsche 911, the first masterpiece by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, shaped the world of sports cars with its iconic flyline. In 1972, he transferred his purist design principles to a second masterpiece: the Chronograph I, which made history as the first completely black timepiece. Made from ultra-lightweight, durable titanium, the Chronograph 1 – All Black Numbered Edition combines classic design with modern technology and consistently carries motorsport DNA into the present. With a leather strap made from original Porsche vehicle leather and thread in Classic Cognac, the timepiece gains another expression closely related to sports cars. Handcrafted and fitted with a titanium folding clasp coated in black titanium carbide, it combines the natural feel of leather with the precise design language of the timepiece, emphasizing the connection to the interior of the 911 in every detail. Thanks to Porsche Design's specific quick-change mechanism, the strap can be easily and tool-free swapped – for more freedom in individual expression. Crafted by master artisans in the new Porsche watch manufactory in Grenchen, Switzerland.
