Universal Genève Compax VALJOUX 72 SOLEIL DIAL NINA CASE RARE VINTAGE

Vintage Universal Geneve is hot at the moment! Not only because of the revival of the brand but also since the brand made some fabulous watches, especially chronographs. The example here is one of those awesome pieces, an end 1960's Compax with Valjoux 72 ref 22705/1. It shares the same 36mm screwback case as the Nina's and Tri-Compaxes and this one is unpolished! This is important as most have been polished and their numbers no longer visible. It also retains the beautiful UG crown. The stunning all original 'soleil' dial with outer Tachymetre scale in blue changes with the angle of lightfall. Movement is the pristine Valjoux 72 which is functioning perfectly. Attached is a blue Tropic strap with original UG clasp. It also comes with an extra JB Champion bracelet and the original box.
