The case and clasp are made of solid stainless steel and have a timeless, elegant design. The dial is in silver/white with applied indices. The arrow-shaped hands and indices are finely polished and reflect light beautifully. The gold seconds hand is a highlight in itself. They seem to glow on the dial and have a clearly readable contrast, further emphasized by the double anti-reflective coated glass.
The caliber used is one of the best and most precise manufacture calibers in the world. Seiko manages to build a highly accurate yet affordable manufacture watch that surpasses some competitors technically. All this with style and without ostentation. Brilliant understatement and timeless beauty.
