The Chronoswiss has optimal dimensions for a dress watch. It sits well on the wrist and is very comfortable to wear with the leather strap and pin buckle. Due to the extraordinary craftsmanship and the rarity of the watch, interested looks are guaranteed. The dial is - as is customary with Chronoswiss - perfectly and at the highest level of craftsmanship. Thanks to the clear lines and the large hour marker at 12 o'clock, it is an absolute eye-catcher. The hands are thermally blued and hand-finished in the feuille style. The dial appears very beautiful and symmetrical. The hourly highlight is, of course, the jumping hour change. This highlight is gladly observed and awaited on the wrist.
The case is made of solid yellow/white gold and houses two anti-reflective sapphire glasses. It is fully polished to a high gloss. The stately onion crown is grippy and makes winding after longer lying times a pleasure. Inside the Chronoswiss works a nickel-plated form lever movement with 15 jewels - caliber FEF130. A lot of detail work has gone into this caliber, making it a rare collector's item, mainly used in square timepieces. A true delicacy of manual winding movements. Production period 1933 - 1963. Rüdiger Lang discovered remaining stocks of this movement and used it to build his exclusive mechanical hour display.
A great classic and an elegant, luxurious companion for a suit oralso shirt. Chronoswiss is also a good investment in terms of value stability when purchased on the secondary market. This watch alone is worth its money just by weight.
The watch comes with a box from Chronoswiss as well as a certificate from 1990. Recently serviced and in perfect condition.
It bears our UK seal and is delivered with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase.
