The Tissot PR516 Ref. T149.459.21.051.00
draws on Tissot's motorsport history and interprets the legendary PR516 collection in a modern version with a classic manual winding movement. Already in the 1960s, the PR516 stood for dynamic chronographs with a motorsport connection. The current generation combines this historical character with contemporary technology and high-quality materials.
The 41 mm stainless steel case gives the watch a sporty presence without appearing overloaded. The black dial is framed by a tachymeter and pulsometer scale – two classic features of historic chronographs. Luminous hands and indices ensure good readability, while the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal reliably protects the front. The exhibition case back allows a view of the mechanical movement at work.
Inside, a modern manual winding movement with a generous power reserve of around 67 hours operates. In addition to hours, minutes, and small seconds, the watch features a precise chronograph function. The stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp completes the sporty-classic overall impression and makes the PR516 a successful combination of historical inspiration and modern Swiss watchmaking./>
