* If the watch has tested positive for water resistance, this property applies at the time of measurement. Water resistance according to DIN 8310 is notRemaining property. It should be checked annually and before special stresses, as the built-in density elements diminish in their function and in daily use. Influences such as strong temperature fluctuations, chlorine, soap, or saltwater negatively affect water resistance.
Please avoid a common mistake: Never operate the crown or chronograph of the wristwatch underwater. No matter how high the water resistance is specified.
