Ulysse Nardin with a long tradition of watchmaking
Ulysse Nardin is a high-quality Swiss watch manufacturer that, like other watch manufacturers, is based in Le Locle in the canton of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. Its history began as early as 1792 when the first watchmaker of the famous family, Leonard Frederic Nardin, was born. Later it was his son Ulysse who founded the watch factory in 1846. Unfortunately, he died very quickly and his son Paul took over the business when he was only 20 years old. He made many ship chronometers known from awards.

During the 20th century, the United States Naval Observatory purchased numerous pocket watches. But from 1940, Switzerland was isolated and the Hamilton company began to copy numerous models. Today there is still a clock museum in Le Locle, in which many of the famous clocks that have been manufactured by the company over the course of 200 years are exhibited. In 1983 the company was taken over by Rolf W. Schnyder, who protected it from bankruptcy. Unfortunately, he died in 2011. Three years later, the luxury goods group Kering took over the company.

The 17 watches in the Freak Collection are revolutionary and ultra-modern, and the 39 in the Executive Collection are also classified in the upper price category. The Classico rounds off the range with 60 other watch models.

One of the most coveted and wonderful watches in the world is the Ulysse Nardin Safari with its beautiful crocodile leather strap and a colorful clock face depicting animals. The watch is a special one-off from 2018 with manual winding. Elephant, lion, flamingo and monkey can be seen on the clock. The blue hands look rather inconspicuous, but the time can be read very well. The case is made of platinum.

A rarity is the Gengis Khan clock, which stands out with its silver figures on the dial. The case is made of white gold and the black crocodile leather strap forms a strong contrast.

The elegant stainless steel women's watch was manufactured in 2018. The bracelet is made of crocodile leather. The numbers 3, 6, 9 and 12 are Roman numerals with brilliant-cut diamonds.
