This dial has been featured on several Audemars Piguet models over the years, notably on perpetual calendar, day-date, chronograph, quartz, and date watches, crafted in both steel (ST) and yellow gold (BA).
It is widely believed that this dial was produced by Stern Creations, a renowned house that also designed the dials for the legendary Royal Oak ref. 5402.
We are here with the MK2 dial, recognizable by its "A" and "P" logos in capital letters as well as its elongated hour markers.
The vibrant blue dial, nicknamed the “Yves Klein dial” by collectors due to its striking resemblance to the iconic blue popularized by Yves Klein, is distinguished by its intensity and unique character.
