Broadblue Rapier 550

The Rapier 550 is built using Carbon and E-glass infused epoxy making it light and fast. It looks good and has a proven cruising speed reaching up to 15 knots or more.On passage, 200 mile days are easily achievable in a relaxed way.

 The connection between the helm, galley and the saloon means that the crew can enjoy wonderful dining without compromise in complete control and safety.

 The boat underwent a mechanical refit adding several upgrades in preparation for the ARC 2023. Upgrades included new lithium Mastervolt batteries, battery management system, 2 x 5Kw inverters, new solar panels and management system, all rigging - standing and running, new rudders with new steering ram and rose joints, bearings and bushings, 220sqm Parasailor, 2 x  large Raymarine Axiom screens, radar and AIS, Starlink, 2x epirus and the Liferaft was also serviced.

 The owners and their two young children made the trip successfully and cruised the Caribbean and Bahamas. Blue Wonder is now back from this circuit where the second part of the refit has been finished including all new floors, new upholstery, new water maker, new windlass motor and gearbox as well as much, much more!

 She is ready and waiting to head off straight away to warmer climates with her new owners.

Three cabins, each with dedicated heads and shower. Master cabin in port hull with large owner berth, dressing area and spacious heads and shower room forward. Two double cabins in starboard hull, each with en-suite heads and shower.
