Boat Overview

This 2012 Fairline Squadron 42 is a well maintained and thoughtfully specified example of this popular model. Built and launched in the same year, it offers a practical two-cabin layout with generous living space for 6, whilst offering a large cockpit, flybridge and bow area for outside entertaining.

Fitted with a bow thruster for easier handling, a generator, and Eberspächer heating, it’s well suited for comfortable cruising in a range of conditions. The current owner has also recently upgraded the cockpit and flybridge upholstery, giving the boat a fresh, updated feel and look.

Accommodation

The main saloon offers a bright, open living space with full-length side windows, full-height headroom, and blinds or curtains for privacy. A comfortable sofa, dining table, and cocktail cabinet create a welcoming atmosphere, while a glass partition separates the saloon from the galley.

The galley serves both saloon and cockpit with an electric hob, microwave/grill, refrigerator, bulkhead storage, and integrated waste bin. Solid surface worktops, lacquered cupboard doors, and underfloor stowage combine style with practicality, complemented by panoramic windows and an opening port hole for natural light.

The forward master cabin features an oversized double bed with storage, bedside tables, upholstered headboard, wardrobe, overhead lockers, and opening hull windows with blinds. A skylight and foredeck hatch with flyscreen enhance light and space.

The master en suite offers a full-height shower with hinged door, vanity unit with basin, freshwater electric toilet, extractor fan, mirror, fittings, and 220V/240V shaving point, lit by opening hull windows.

The starboard guest cabin provides two berths that convert to a double, with storage via bedside stowage, overhead lockers, and a wardrobe. Double doors connect to the guest/day en suite, which includes a teak-grated shower with seat, freshwater electric toilet, vanity unit, extractor fan, mirror, shaving point, natural light, and automatic shower pump-out.
