Beneteau 505

This classic Beneteau 505 has done a circumnavigation plus many years in the Med. Before I set sail from California in 2003, I had my yacht completely rewired and a major refit by skilled American technicians and shipwrights adding all the necessary equipment for ocean sailing. What stands out the most when compared to newer yachts is the diameter of the rigging. A significant difference in the shroud and stays diameter. The mast is fortified with stainless steel strut stabilizers connected to the keel structure for added strength in rough weather.
