The dream of your own shipyard

It became a reality for Pietro Baglietto as early as 1854. At that time the main task was the small fishing boats. The first racing boat that the Baglietto shipyard built looked very much like a cutter. The boat was 7.50 meters long and was named Rosy. In 1911 his son Bernardo took over the business and orders from the government were not long in coming.

In the 1950s there was close cooperation with the Italian army. The 1960s brought new technologies that drove production. The 1970s brought the material aluminum into use. Hydrodynamics and planing hulls presented themselves. The 1980s were designed to give yachts a bigger dimension. In 2012 the company was taken over. Baglietto now belongs to the Gravio family.
