Collingwood Cruiser stern Charlie

Charlie is a 60ft cruiser stern narrowboat built by Collingwood Boat Builders and fitted-out by the current owner and commissioned in 2025. Designed as a gasless narrowboat with a modern reverse layout and a cruiser stern, she offers a comfortable, open, and practical living accommodation along with some unique features making her ideal for both leisure cruising and full-time residential use off-grid.

Entering from the spacious cruiser stern, which features U-shaped seating and a pram cover for all-weather cruising, you step into a well-appointed galley. The galley is equipped with dual electric hob, oven and grill, fridge, sink, a washing / dryer machine, and also features the Water Freedom water filtration and purification system.

Forward of the galley is a dinette area which conveniently converts into a double bed by means of a table that can be lowered and raised automatically via a switch, offering additional sleeping space for guests. There is also an under-seat compact freezer.

The saloon provides a welcoming living area with two chairs along with a solid fuel stove creating a cosy atmosphere during the colder months. The boat is also fitted with radiators powered by an Autoterm diesel boiler for central heating.

Moving forward, the shower room includes a fully enclosed shower cubicle, composting toilet and vanity unit with sink.

At the bow is the main bedroom, featuring a king-sized bed with built-in storage, and a wardrobe, creating a comfortable and practical sleeping space.
