Bay Dreamer II Overview

Bay Dreamer II is a 2000 44' Cruisers Yachts 4450 motoryacht. She features twin Volvo-Penta 480 HP main engines, a Kohler 13.5 kW generator, an Oil-X-Changer oil change system, and a QL bowthruster. The yacht includes molded-in steps from the swimplatform to the sundeck and from the sundeck to the helm, along with a 3 stateroom 2 head layout. Both heads are equipped with enclosed showers. Bay Dreamer II is a Great Loop veteran and has primarily been a fresh water boat, except for a portion of the Great Loop.

44' Cruisers Vessel Walkthrough

From the fiberglass swimplatform, you step up to the hardtop covered and Eisenglass enclosed sundeck via the molded-in steps and gate. Once on the sundeck, you can walk out either side deck via a wing door or step up to the upper deck to find the helm to starboard and a benchseat with storage to port. Step down the companionway into the salon, where you will find L-shaped seating and a coffee table that covers a built-in tool chest starboard aft, a dinette starboard forward, storage cabinetry, and an electrical panel to port, along with a galley port forward. Walk forward to find a guest stateroom with side by side single size berths to starboard, a head with an enclosed shower to port, and another guest stateroom with an island queen size berth forward. The full-beam master stateroom with a queen size berth and an ensuite head with a rub/shower is aft. Engine room access is via a salon sole hatch.

The headroom in the salon is 6'5", 6'6" in the forward guest stateroom, 4'4" to 6'5" in the starboard guest stateroom, 6'4" in the master stateroom, 6'3" in the guest shower, 6'2" in the master stateroom tub/shower, 6'7" on the sundeck, and 6'6" on the flybridge. The master stateroom berth is 7' long, the forward guest stateroom berth is 6'6" long, and the starboard guest stateroom berths are 6'2" long.

The height above the waterline to the top of the anchor lights is 16'2" and 15'6" to the top of the Radar.

Bay Dreamer II offers a full-beam master stateroom aft with a queen size berth and an ensuite head with a tub/shower; a guest stateroom starboard forward with side by side single size berths; and a guest stateroom all the way forward with an island queen size berth. The guest head with enclosed shower is port forward.

The salon features L-shaped seating with two recliners and a coffee table that includes a tool chest starboard aft, carpet, a dinette starboard forward, engine room access, opening side windows with shades, reading lights, an electrical panel port aft, storage cabinets to port, and steps with a hatch and screen to the upper deck.

The full-beam master stateroom is aft and offers a queen size berth, a transom hatch with a shade, carpet, storage cabinets and drawer, a hanging locker, shelves, a desk/vanity, a benchseat, a mirror, and an ensuite head with a tub/shower.

44' Cruisers Forward Guest Stateroom

The forward guest stateroom features an island queen size berth, storage cabinets and drawers, a cedar-lined hanging locker, nightstands, 2 portlights, an overhead hatch, reading lights, and carpet. The guest head with enclosed shower is located port of this stateroom.

44' Cruisers Starboard Guest Stateroom

The starboard guest stateroom offers side by side single size berths, carpet, storage cabinets and drawer, a reading light, and storage under the berths.

44' Cruisers Upper Deck

The upper deck includes the helm and helm benchseat to starboard, a benchseat with storage to port, an Eisenglass enclosure, a bimini, Seadek style deck covering over a non-skid deck, molded-in steps to the sundeck, a sliding hatch and screen to the salon companionway, searchlight control, bowthruster control, electronic engine controls, anchor windlass control, Faria gauges, and electronics as detailed in the electronics section in this presentation.

The sundeck features a Seadek style deck covering over a non-skid deck, a hardtop, an Eisenglass enclosure with a screen in the aft panel, a transom gate, molded-in steps to the swimplatform and upper deck, wrap-around seating with storage and a removable wood table aft, a benchseat with storage starboard forward, wing doors to each side deck, a fan, and a wetbar with a Kenyon Custom electric BBQ grill.
