“Anam Cara of Alderney” is a unique 11.90m one-off composite motorsailer, designed by Pat Patterson and built in 2001 by Multihull Centre Ltd in Cornwall. Commissioned in 2002 for her current owners, she has been thoughtfully designed with numerous innovative features.
Powered by twin 270hp GM Peninsular diesel engines on shaft drive, she offers a cruising speed of 9–10 knots and excellent offshore capability (Category B). Her Bermudan staysail ketch rig with in-boom furling provides flexible and easily managed sailing.
Extensively equipped for long-range cruising, including generator, inverter, reverse cycle air conditioning, watermaker, washing machine, and comprehensive navigation electronics. Spacious accommodation for up to 6 across three cabins, including a forward cabin with integrated bath and a large aft owner’s suite.
A well-maintained and highly capable offshore cruiser, wintered ashore annually and benefiting from continuous upgrades. Supplied with tender and liferaft.
