Boat Overview

In 2020, a unique journey began at VMG Yachtbuilders with the creation of a truly exceptional yacht, originally known as the "Waddenboot." The vessel, which has been called IJver since its christening, laid the foundation for the entire IJver Class fleet.

Design and Features

IJver is not just a yacht; it is memories from childhood, sailing across the Dutch, German, and Danish Wadden and coastal waters, woven into a design. The result is a yacht that has the appearance of a robust ship with the characteristics of a fishing trawler combined with the luxury of a motor yacht.

Interior Details

The salon features removable composite hatches, creating a spacious open area that serves as the main living space. A separate cabin is dedicated to the owner, offering privacy and tranquility. There is also a bunk bed for children, each equipped with portholes providing water views.

Exterior Features

The salon is equipped with 10 removable composite hatches for easy access and ventilation. Additionally, there are 3 removable composite hatches above the helm station. The yacht also has 6 integrated portholes in the hull.

Construction Specifications

The IJver is built according to the highest quality standards in Dutch yacht building.

• Hull: 8 mm aluminum plating with frames every 400 mm

• Rudder stock made of solid 60 mm aluminum

Stabilization and Performance

The IJver is equipped with Seakeeper 9 Zero Speed stabilizers, which provide exceptional stability even when the yacht is stationary. This ensures a comfortable experience for the passengers.

Mast and Rigging

The mast is Oregon laminated, traditionally built SRF. Painted in 2024. There is an electrical system to lower the mast.
