Alubat Ovni 400

Not your average 40 footer - she's closer to 43 foot overall and that's part of the reason why the Ovni 400 evolved into the Ovni 430 - to better reflect her true size and stop comparisons with real 40 footers! Her high volume and open interior coupled with her large cockpit makes her a very attractive and social yacht - and she sails well too.

An opportunity to get on the water now in a complete boat - even the kettle is included in the sale! Representing a healthy saving over the new boat price this Ovni has sailed approx 4000 sea miles in her life and is in that sweet spot of a recent, but lightly used, boat.

She is equipped for autonomy both in terms of power generation (wind, solar, generator) as well as water with her watermaker. Digitally set up for the digital nomads, fantastic Hydranet sails, a sheltered companionway with her mainsail arch and sprayhood for those long watches on passage, bimini and cockpit tent (just in case you're somewhere cooler!). Would be great for an office afloat - anywhere. Her layout is two double cabins (fore and aft), a technical 'room' with a single berth plus all the gizmos and workshop space, as well as the saloon berths which convert into a double. A single toilet compartment with a separate shower and a well thought out linear galley, plenty of storage but also fully equipped complete the domestic picture. And the captain has their own spot at the chart table from which to manage the boat using the full range of navigation instruments.

Space usage in the technical 'room' is maximised using the area aft of the engine - easy to access for servicing and that cabin doesn't need to be cluttered with sails - there's a deck accessed foredeck sail locker, for your asymmetric, fenders, lines, toys... The aluminium hulled tender is stowed on the aft arch which has a useful lifting frame for this purpose and getting in and out of the tender from the reassuringly steady bathing platform is a dream.
