The Trewes Spitsgatkotter 12.00 was designed in 1968 by the famous Naval Architect SM van der Meer and built by Van Dam shipyard in Aalsmeer. It is a unique, charming, and custom example with a classic appearance. The open cockpit and salon are connected by 2 folding doors, the spacious open cockpit features a U-shaped seat, which is ideal for enjoying a lovely day on the water with guests, a second outside steering position is available, the bow has 2 fixed berths and large hanging/leg cabinets, a spacious galley on starboard with built-in Electrolux refrigerator, stainless steel sink. On port side, there is a large toilet area with fixed washbasin. In the salon on starboard, there is a spacious L-shaped sofa, a bar cabinet on starboard, a sideboard with various cabinets and drawers on port. Floors in the bow, galley, and salon are finished with decorative teak lines. Security glass in copper-chromed profiles, fixed windows in the stern and doors, middle side windows sliding, 1 front window, and 1 half-folding window. Teak with rubberized seams over steel deck. The entire superstructure is made of 20 mm mahogany hardwood, roofs laminated from 3 x 7 mm Occumé hardwood. Large sliding hatch in the salon roof. Steel self-draining cockpit floor, covered with teak with rubberized seams. Cockpit benches and edges are made entirely of solid mahogany. The cockpit is equipped with a fully covered tent with viewing windows. The ship underwent a complete renovation of the teak deck in 2022, featuring a spacious high open cockpit, second steering position, stainless steel bollards, high double railing, all sealant edges renewed in 2022, foldable teak mast, LED lighting throughout the boat, Victron Digital Multi Control, power system, and plenty of storage space. The clearance height with the mast folded is approximately 2.50m. The ship has been stored indoors during the past winter seasons.
