The secret is the inhabitants of the city, know local real estate agents. The Tyroleans treat the high society as normal when they sit next to celebrities in the restaurant or to see them go shopping. So it does not matter that the VIP wears a Rolex Daytona (Ref 116518) that is worth a small car. But the Kitzbühler itself is proud to live in this thriving metropolis, where no "reasonable" square meter costs less than 8,500 €. In terms of price, one square meter is roughly the same as for a used Rolex Datejust Tiger (Ref. 1601). Unlike in other countries, the Tyrolean is justifiably proud of his homeland. Where many a jealous look at the neighbor's property, one shows in Kitzbühel what one has. If you have a new Bentley or Lamborghini, the Tyroleans take note of the car - nothing more. The Tyroleans do not bow down just because someone owns more capital. Everything happens at eye level and so Franz Beckenbauer can live quite "normally" in Kitzbühel.
Not without reason, the property price has more than doubled within ten years. Because the city offers very attractive benefits. In spite of the rural attitude Kitzbühel enjoys the pulsating life in cafés, bars, restaurants or at exhibitions. But the luxury lifestyle can still be recognized - instead of sparkling wine, there is champagne. The boutiques offer Haute Coture. Passers-by on the streets carry Rolex (like the Rolex Sea-Dweller ref. 116660) and Audemars Piguet (eg Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Ref. B 39617). The residents play polo and golf. And everywhere you will find the charming character of the Tyrolean country house style again.
The city offers a lot of potential and has many coveted apartments and houses. If you feel comfortable in the limelight and are on par with the influential celebrities, look for a beautiful apartment or villa in Kitzbühel. Who knows, maybe you are the one or the other who greets Franz Beckenbauer at the bakery!
